Booree
editThis sentence has been included in the article:
- "Booree" is a term of reference for the Kabi people of Brisbane and surrounding areas.
What does 'term of reference' mean? What is the difference between Booree & Kabi? Are they synonyms, or is one a sub-set of the other? Ashmoo 01:01, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
- 'Term of reference' is jargon for "a term with which they are referred (or refer to themselves)". I am removing Booree from the article. It seems out of place and is possibly erroneous. Booree seems to be a common Aboriginal place name, but until someone can come up with something more substantial about its usage as a notable term of reference with relevance to this article, it shouldn’t be in the article. --Ezeu 01:33, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
Murri Disambiguation
editI would like to move this article to Murri (Australia) or Murri (people) because Pakistani city of Murree is also spelled as Murri. We could create a disambiguation page with both uses of Murri. Szhaider 11:08, 24 September 2006 (UTC)

What source of name?
editThe article should include information about the source of the name (including first documented case). 202.168.33.73 (talk) 02:35, 9 October 2022 (UTC)
Move Terminology content
editThe content of the Terminology section should be moved to a separate article because it is much more general than just this topic. 202.168.33.73 (talk) 02:37, 9 October 2022 (UTC)
